Reana Pilgrim-Novotny

Ms. Novotny joined Sugar Creek in 1993, after five years in property management. In her tenure at Sugar Creek she has achieved Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) Certification awarded by The National Association of Home Builders and the National Affordable Housing Management Association. Specializing in IRS Section 42 Tax Credit Compliance, Ms. Novotny holds both a C3P and C4P designation. She has Certification in Housing Credits Advanced Issues and Certification in Federal Fair Housing Law. She has completed the Georgia Real Estate Commission MLS Training Institute and the Kansas Department of Commerce and Housing Basic and Advanced Training Workshop. Ms. Novotny is a recipient of the Shining STAR award signifying comprehensive understanding of Rural Housing Services (FmHA) 515 regulations and multi-family housing management principles. As Director of Compliance and Asset Management, Ms. Novotny oversees all aspects of business operations for the properties managed by Sugar Creek. She works as the liaison with developers, state compliance and housing authorities, federal and state investors and general and limited partners to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding use of state and federal development funds specifically with: Section 42 of the IRC Federal Tax Credit Program, HUD, Home Funds, Housing Trust Funds, Land use Restriction Agreements and Partnership Agreements.
